Gladys Beri, MA
Education/Experience:
Gladys is completing her Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from National University in early spring 2025. Gladys has 1 year practicum experience providing individual and family therapy interventions to elementary school children and their families through the LifeStance Health Community Based Program.
Specialized Training:
Gladys’ Marriage and Family Therapy Specialization is Trauma Informed Systemic Therapy. Gladys incorporates the use of art, therapeutic play, mindfulness and other sensory based strategies to facilitate the regulation of the automimic nervous system, and deep relaxation to inspire healing and transformation in the lives of her clients.
Gladys is currently undergoing training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Neuro-Psychodrama to facilitate healing and the reinvention of self to promote post traumatic growth in her clients.
Areas of Clinical Interest:
Gladys is very interested in helping her clients to heal relational traumas in couples and families and helping individuals repair their relationships with themselves.
Practice Areas:
Gladys enjoys working with Elementary school age kids 5 – 10, young adults, individuals, couples, and intergenerational members of the family system.
Personal Statement:
I believe in the possibilities that could arise from healing and liberation from the limitations of fear, shame, guilt, and self doubt, to reclaim one’s personal power to rebuild and reinvent themselves to express the greatness that lies within us.
