Education/Experience
Becca is currently a pre-doctoral student in the Counseling Psychology program at the University of St. Thomas, under the supervision of Dr. Phyllis Solon. She has been practicing as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in private practice, since 2017. Becca is also a MN board-approved supervisor for LPC/C candidates. Prior to her role as a counselor, Becca worked for a non-profit mentorship program with adolescents. Drawing from over 12 years of collective experience in the mental health world, Becca brings skills of warmth, patience, deep listening, and compassion into work with clients.

Specialized Training
Becca is certified in EMDR and has completed additional advanced trainings in dissociation and complex trauma. Becca enjoys incorporating experiential modalities in therapy, such as sand tray and art to assist clients in expressing emotions or memories.

Areas of Clinical Interest
Becca is bilingual (English & Spanish) and lived in Colombia and the Dominican Republic for most of her upbringing. She enjoys working with Hispanic and Latinx clients.
Becca’s primary clinical focus is working with trauma, including historical, generational, attachment, and racial trauma. Becca also has experience working with a wide variety of mental health concerns including: PTSD, OCD, depression, anxiety, Bipolar, eating disorders, ADHD, autism spectrum, personality disorders, transition-related stressors (de-coupling, career/job changes, and creating boundaries with family members).

Personal Statement
I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental space for people to explore their programming, values, identity, and trauma. I invite folks from all walks of life and communities of race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, or political leaning to partner with me in cultivating a nonjudgmental and safe space for healing.
